Public Skate
Adults and children alike are invited to enjoy ice skating at Elk Grove Ice Arena during public skate hours.
Rental skates and beginner skate aids are available upon request.
Learn to Skate Classes
Elk Grove Ice Arena offers a comprehensive lesson and evaluation structure for recreational skaters, figure skaters, and hockey players of all skill levels.
Specialty classes, private lessons, camps, open skates, competitions and ice shows are available in addition to fundamental Learn to Skate classes.
Adult Hockey League
The Elk Grove Adult Hockey League offers various levels of play including a House, B and C Division. The league participates in 22 regular season games and at least one guaranteed playoff game.

Stick N’ Puck
Stick N’ Puck provides a perfect opportunity for hockey players of all ages to focus on skill development during unstructured ice time.
Participation is limited to 30 skaters and 4 goalies per session and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Hockey Privates
Hockey players that seek additional instruction can benefit from private lessons at Elk Grove Ice Arena. These coached lessons are tailored to each athlete’s specific needs and are offered for all age groups.
Freestyle Ice
Freestyle Ice is for competitive skaters (adult and youth) to use for practice time and for private lessons. Freestyle Ice sessions are priced in 30 minute increments.
Participation is limited to 30 skaters.
Ice Time
Elk Grove Ice Arena’s two NHL regulation ice rinks are regularly rented by individuals and hockey/figure skating clubs for hosting practices, games, tournaments, clinics, camps, parties, and more. Both ice sheets are available for hourly rentals from 6 a.m. - midnight daily.

Open Hockey
Adult Open hockey is a program available to men and women 18 years of age and older. If you’re looking for a fun pickup game or if you’re looking to challenge yourself against other competition, the Elk Grove Ice Arena is the place to be.
All participants are required to wear full equipment.
